The Precision Cares March 2022 recipient of $1,000 is Project Feed The Kids . This amazing program, started only two years ago, packs 1,000 meals a week and makes them available in coolers like the one in this picture stationed outside J & S Hamburg on S. Airport Road in Traverse City. Kingsley now has a cooler and Kalkaska’s cooler will be coming soon! Precision’s $1,000 will feed 500 children.

We are thrilled that our donation came at the same time as Fox Motors Traverse City, MI match challenge so our donation goes so much further. What an amazing community we live in! Tiffany McQueer, her family, and a dedicated team of volunteers have served more than 85,000 meals to veterans, children, the homeless, or anyone in need of food throughout the pandemic. “This is a no-judgement cooler. If people are hungry, they can take a meal. No questions asked.”

Know a cause worth supporting?

Some of our most meaningful community partnerships begin with a nomination or recommendation from a neighbor. If you know a nonprofit, local organization, or family making a difference—or one that could use extra support—we want to hear about it.

Your nomination helps us discover important work happening throughout the area and gives our team another opportunity to give back.
