Helping individuals and families in times of hardship. Guns N’ Hoses raise money to help those in need through community events. Grand Traverse Guns N’ Hoses was founded in 2014 by Tony and Sara Posey of Traverse City. Tony is a Captain with the Grand Traverse Metro Fire Department and his wife Sara is a former Firefighter/EMT as well. It is second nature as a public safety servant to want to help those in need, provide for a better community, and give back to your hometown.
The idea was born when one of our own needed help. A local public safety family had been given the devastating news that their child had cancer. Tony and Sara knew they needed to help. With their love of hockey and a need to give back, the annual Guns N Hoses hockey game was born.
