Precision was thrilled to award $1,000 to the Glen Arbor Arts Center as its January Precision Cares recipient! If you are ever in the Glen Arbor area, stop by. Here’s a little bit more about them:
Glen Arbor Arts Center’s (GAAC) mission is to enrich community life through the arts. It is a year-round nonprofit arts center serving adults, children, families, and artists for over 30 years in Leelanau County.
The GAAC provides in-person, outside, and online programs with six art exhibitions, art classes and workshops for adults and children, Manitou Music concerts, dance performances, lectures, an artist-in-residence program, Plein Air Weekend competition, Creativity Q & A online artist interviews, children’s summer camps and 6ft apart Art outdoor series.
“We are so grateful for the outstanding support of the Precision Cares program and the impact its award has on our children’s art program says Sarah Kime, Executive Director.”
We plan to utilize this award by providing 50 tuition-free art school scholarships for kids and buying quality art supplies for our children’s summer program.
Thank you Glen Arbor Arts Center for all you do for the community. To learn more, visit their website at www.glenarborart.org
