Our July 2020 Precision Cares recipient is the Community Cats of Benzie County. Their goal is to decrease the number of free-roaming cats in their community. They work with colonies of cats and attempt to trap and neuter 100% of those cats. Their “TNVR” program (Trap, Neuter, Vaccinate, Return) starts with adult feral cats. They are vet checked, neutered, vaccinated, and returned to the colony where the caregiver will provide food and shelter.

Young kittens are taken into the foster program to be sure they are healthy and friendly. Once they are old enough to be neutered and vaccinated (plus micro-chipped, de-wormed, and leukemia checked) they are placed into loving homes. Precision’s donation will be used to fund equipment for their surgery room. Congratulations! To learn more, visit their website at: http://benziecats.org

Know a cause worth supporting?

Some of our most meaningful community partnerships begin with a nomination or recommendation from a neighbor. If you know a nonprofit, local organization, or family making a difference—or one that could use extra support—we want to hear about it.

Help Us Make a Difference

Your nomination helps us discover important work happening throughout the area and gives our team another opportunity to give back.
