Giving warmth where it’s needed most.

Know someone who urgently needs a furnace but does not have the resources to replace one? Share their story with us, and they may be selected to receive a new, high-efficiency Trane Comfort Furnace System for their home.

The Furnace Makeover is our way of thanking the community that has supported Precision for so many years. It gives us the opportunity to use the work we do every day to provide safety, comfort, and relief to a local family facing a difficult situation.

Nominations for the next Furnace Makeover will reopen in fall 2026.

Every nomination gives us the chance to learn about a local person or family who could benefit from dependable heat. Our team carefully reviews each eligible submission and selects one recipient based on the circumstances and stories shared with us.

The Precision team carefully reviews all eligible nominations after the submission period closes.

One Family Is Selected

The selected recipient receives a quality, high-efficiency Trane furnace system and professional installation.

The Furnace Makeover brings our team, partners, and community together to give one household the lasting gift of warmth.

Who Is Eligible?

The home must already have an existing forced-air furnace system.
Precision is unable to install new ductwork or convert homes that do not have a compatible system.
The recipient is selected at the sole discretion of Precision Plumbing & Heating.
The nominee must live within Precision’s service area, including Grand Traverse, Leelanau, Benzie, Antrim, or Kalkaska County.

The more detail you can provide, the better our team can understand the nominee’s circumstances and why they deserve this gift.

The Annual Furnace Makeover is supported by Trane, helping us provide the selected household with a dependable, high-efficiency comfort system. Together, we are able to give one family more than a new furnace, we are giving them a safer home and greater peace of mind for the years ahead.

NOMINATIONS OPEN RECIPIENT

One of the Craig children has asthma and requires frequent hospital visits, making safe heat and improved indoor air quality especially important. Despite long hours and ongoing challenges, the family continues to care for one another with strength, perseverance, and love.

On a snowy morning, our team had the privilege of surprising the Craig family and beginning the installation of a new, high-efficiency furnace along with indoor air quality solutions. The day was filled with smiles, happy tears, and the kind of moments that remind us why this tradition means so much.
